Designed by doctors, for doctors

No one understands a doctor’s workflow better than another doctor does. The MTBC EHR is designed and updated with the close supervision and consultation of active providers in private practice who best understand the requirements for electronic documentation of complex patient care scenarios. We actively develop client suggestions and make the updates available to all clients through seamless automatic software updates.

Improve patient outcomes

With access to updated databases of clinical rules, alerts, and medication information, the EHR provides you timely access to information at the point of care. Alerts automatically notify you of critical patient warnings based on age, gender, medical history, medications, and many other variables. Improve patient outcomes by empowering your patients with access to their health information through MTBC’s PHR. Securely share your records with other physicians and easily integrate external documents.

Earn meaningful use now

MTBC EMR 5.0 is 2011/2012 compliant and certified as a Complete EHR by the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT®)*, and ONC Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB). The ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification program tests and certifies that Complete EHRs meet all of the 2011/2012 criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) for either eligible provider or hospital technology.

The 2011/2012 criteria support the stage 1 “meaningful use” measure required to qualify eligible healthcare providers for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Under the Act, eligible providers can earn incentive payments in excess of $44,000 if they are able to demonstrate “meaningful use” of a certified EHR. Click here to learn more about the government’s “meaningful use” incentive program.

MTBC EMR v 5.0 was certified by CCHIT on February 2, 2011. Its assigned certification identification number is CC-1112-609610-1. The self-attested additional software used in testing included SureScripts, First Data Bank, ADAM Health Illustrated Encyclopedia and Lab Test Online. The following quality measures certified during testing: NQF 0013, NQF 0024, NQF 0028, NQF 0038, NQF 0041, NQF 0059, NQF 0061, NQF 0064 and NQF 0421.

Now is the time to implement MTBC EHR 5.0 in your office. Under recent legislation, healthcare providers that can successfully demonstrate "meaningful use" of qualified EHR technology can collect stimulus incentives in excess of $44,000. What's more, the current bonuses will eventually become penalties for practices that fail to implement EHR technology within the next few years. For more information on the HITECH stimulus incentives, including full reproductions of our EHR webinar series, please click here.
