MTBC EHR 5.0 does not require any expensive or inordinately sophisticated hardware. Our EHR can either reside on your network as a client-server model, or reside on our servers as a cloud-based model.

  • For one or two users, you need only one PC with a reasonably fast processor (Intel P4 2.6 GHz or Intel Dual Core 1.6 GHz or equivalent) to act as the server.
  • For more than 3 users, we recommend that you use a small server (Intel Quad Core 2.0 GHz or equivalent). Your practice will be responsible for backing up the data on a daily basis to an external hard drive or to the web.
  • For more than 25 users, MTBC will customize a solution.
  • MTBC EHR 5.0 is easily accessible from any computer with Internet access.
  • Like most EHR products, MTBC EHR 5.0 requires the use of a scanner with a Twain driver.
