MTBC -The 4% Medical Billing Company- Announces Launch Date for New Integrated EMR
Program
SOMERSET, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 16, 2004--Medical Transcription Billing, Corp.
( www.mtbc.com), a leading medical services company,
which is well known for its 4% medical billing, has announced that it will launch
a fully integrated, Internet accessible Electronic Medical Records ("EMR") program
as an addition to its already extensive array of medical billing and practice management
services. The new EMR module will be available in the fourth quarter of this year.
"EMR software is no longer a luxury for a physician's office; it is now a necessity,"
explains MTBC's President, David Rosenblum. "Although MTBC has established relationships
with a number of EMR companies and can interface with any EMR program, we have determined
to build an EMR program into our billing system at the request of our clients. The
EMR module will give physicians even greater control over the operation and management
of their practice and will put MTBC even farther ahead of the competition."
"MTBC's 4-for-4 plan offers physicians a complete practice management solution,"
explains MTBC's President, David Rosenblum. "The 4-for-4 plan includes comprehensive
billing and patient management features which will help the physician spend more
time with patients and less time with paperwork."
MTBC's next generation EMR program will synchronize with MTBC's on-line scheduler
and real-time medical billing software. With MTBC's current 4% medical billing and
practice management services, a physician has unprecedented access to patient and
billing information from any web-ready computer. The EMR program will provide complete
HIPAA compliance as well as accessibility from any Internet ready device, including
PDAs, tablet PCs, and standard laptop and desktop computers. It will be offered
to MTBC's medical billing clients at no additional cost.
Among the unique features of MTBC's new software program will be the ability to
forecast expected payments based on a physician's previous billing experience and
predict the amount collected for each billed claim. The EMR program, together with
MTBC's current online features, will uniquely position MTBC at the forefront of
technological advances in the realm of healthcare services dedicated to the management
of small and solo medical practices.
