MTBC EMR Updated with EMR Patch Version 4.0.07.00

The latest patch for its proprietary EMR, version 4.0.07.00, has been recently released by MTBC, providing users with an exciting array of new features and improvements. With this new update, MTBC is one step closer to helping you achieve “meaningful use.”
Some of the major features included in the update are:
- Letter auto-generation, which allows you to automatically generate patient letters;
- The ability to draft claims for billing so that they can be modified before submission; and
- The ability to retrieve external drug history from Surescripts® with just one click.
The update also offers some great improvements to our system, including lab module updates, improved patient communication and documentation, enhanced messaging and printing functionalities, updates to the user-rights module, the ability to search for patient insurances by phone number and an improved display of new medications.
Some added “meaningful requirements” include drug-to-drug and drug-to-allergy notifications, enhanced audit log functionality, encryption/decryption functionality according to NIST standards, expanded lab result reporting and enhanced immunization documentation.
