MTBC, a Unique Healthcare IT Company, Announces Samantha Bowmen as its Office Manager of the Year for 2010

(Somerset, NJ)—MTBC, a unique healthcare IT company, specializing in revenue cycle management and EHR solutions, is pleased to announce Samantha Bowmen of Bluebonnet Family Clinic in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as its 2010 Office Manager of the Year.

Ms. Bowmen has served as the Office Manager for Bluebonnet Family Clinic for the past year. She manages the daily operations of the practice and has worked in partnership with MTBC to accelerate claim submission and streamline the overall billing process.

Each year, MTBC presents the Office Manager of the Year award to one of its billing and practice management clients for demonstrating exceptional office management support. Typically, the Office Manager of the Year is awarded a roundtrip airline ticket to the destination of his or her choice. This year, Ms. Bowmen has chosen to receive her reward in the form of a $1,000 cash prize.

The Office Manager of the Year is selected from that year’s recipients of the Office Manager of the Month award. The selection is based upon MTBC’s proprietary Efficiency Rating, which uses an algorithm to calculate each practice’s billing efficiency. The Office Managers from those practices with the highest average efficiency ratings are eligible for the Office Manager of the Month award and in turn, for the Office Manager of the Year award.

Bluebonnet Family Clinic has been an MTBC client since May of 2008. Ms. Bowmen was recognized as the Office Manager of the Month for September 2010.
